Adai Dosa by Gowri Chebbi
Ingredients:
1. 1 cup long-grain rice
2. 1 cup parboiled rice
3. ½ cup toor dal
4. ½ cup chana dal
5. ½ cup moong dal
6. ¼ cup urad dal
7. ½ teaspoon fenugreek seeds
8. Salt to taste
Masala:
9. 4 green chilies
10. 4 red chilies
11. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (jeera)
12. 1 onion
13. 5 strings of curry leaves
14. 4 strings of cilantro leaves
15. Asafoetida (hing)
Method:
1. Soak the rice and dal in water for 6 hours. Grind them into a smooth paste.
2. Grind the green chilies, red chilies, cumin seeds, onion, curry leaves, cilantro leaves, and asafoetida along with the batter. You don't need to ferment this batter.
3. Make dosas immediately after grinding the batter.
4. Serve the Adai Dosas with yogurt or chutney.
